Determination
I had wanted to do a graduation post, but i still don’t have any pictures– so that post will have to wait.
Well here’s one photo:
I love love love the scrub top that i bought for Graduation…. it was so great and fitting.. i’ll have to find some more like it for when i start working!
For the last month or so, i hadn’t been doing Weight Watchers completely. I’ve been just trying to make good decisions, not really tracking, and kind of guesstimating on points. I’ve been super stressed out, freaking out about clinicals, graduating, and the holidays. Now that i’ve graduated and taking the Hurst Review– i’ll just be awaiting to schedule boards (I’ve got to straighten some things out with the Texas/Louisiana issues) and studying to pass boards!!! Which will allow time for me to plan meals, track my points, grocery shop, and exercise! I want to start working and move to Texas being the best Brittany that i can be! I KNOWWWW that weight loss requires a lot of work and does not come easy– but it’s something that i want to do and am determined to do! This time i know i will be determined, will track pointsplus, will eat better foods, and will continue to move more!
Things i’ve learned to keep you going:
1) Have a support system of people that encourage you and support you no matter what you do! People like Sam, Emily, Colleen, Monica, Mel, Kenz, Patty, and coutnless others like my friends in real life and family.
2) Keep notes and reminders in the kitchen and bathroom that you are beautiful, loved, and amazing and that you can do and achieve anything you set your mind to. So what? I loveeeee inspiration and motivational quotes!
3) It’s important to keep moving, even if it’s just 30 minutes, everyday. Park a little farther away from the grocery store or mall; give that bath tub and sink a little extra scrub when cleaning; take breaks and walk outside when studying and doing homework. Every little bit of movement helps and will add up!
I leave you today with this thought: “To get something you never had, you have to do something you never did.”

You looked beautiful on your graduation day! Loved the pic of three generations of beautiful ladies.
Weight loss is definitely a lot of work! It sounds like you’ve got a great plan of attack lined up to tackle it though.
