ACL is an annual freaking awesome 3 day music festival in Austin! ACL has 8 stages with musicians playing, great food, “bars”, areas to buy local artwork, ACL tshirts, hats, purses, wallets, super cute purses and skirts! My sister ended up getting tickets for her and i to go a few days before the festival started! It was so great to be able to go with my sister and share this experience with her!!!!! SO MANY people and such great musicians! I had to work on Friday, so i was not able to see Ray Lamontagne :( SAD FACE!

I was able to see Sara Bareilles, Coldplay (AHHHHHHMAZING!), Tv on the radio, Preservation Hall Jazz Band, and Stevie Wonder!

During the encore Chris Martin was down in the crowd up on the scaffolding singing, he was so close to us!!! YEAH it was freaking awesome :)

Saturday– it finally rained in Austin!!!!!!!!!!!!! IT WAS SO MANY KINDS OF GLORIOUS!!!!!! And Stevie Wonder was freaking amazing! He opened with 2 James Taylor songs, which was awesome :)

And i’m totally not afraid to wear my purple and gold anymore in Austin!!!! I’ll proudly be wearing purple and gold, and black and gold from here on out!!!!!! I’m a Louisiana girl and super proud of it!!!!
